Albino ball pythons

This species is quite rare and is found in Africa. It has a wild body, pink tongue and pink eyes. They are the smallest species of pythons. The male ones are smaller than females generally.

The albino ball pythons are nocturnal and they feed during night. They eat mice, rats, etc…Water should be placed in a shallow bowl for soaking as well as drinking. These snakes are terrestrial rain water species and should be placed in wood terrains and the humidity should be maintained high. One or two branch of tree shall be kept as it loves climbing.
This type of snake is secretive and hides in a tight fitting shelter and they can be sheltered and kept alone or in groups. They yawn often for no reason. It doesn’t mean there is respiratory problem.
The albino ball pythons mature at 18 months and they reproduce when the female is introduced into male’s shed after feeding. They prefer reproducing at the age of two years. It will take 50 to 60 days to hatch the eggs.
There will be health problems if it is not taken care properly with a proper diet. The demand for albino ball python is high and costs more than $2500 or so.
